St Cuthbert's Society
Currently, there are 600 members of St Cuthbert's Society. It was founded on 19 July 1854 and exists to promote the formation of seminarians for the Catholic priesthood at Ushaw College by contributing to the maintenance and development of the College by assisting it in projects.
The Society furthers its objective by forming a centre of union for the alumni and friends of the College in whatever part of the world they reside and by perpetuating the spirit of communion that has ever existed among them.
