Welcome to a fast growing online faith education community with participants from across the United Kingdom and beyond. Many of our course participants come back to do further study. Through this website, we hope you enjoy exploring the fascinating opportunities this form of learning can offer.
What is Ushaw Online?
Ushaw Online offers exciting and flexible new opportunities for adult faith education, ministerial formation and personal spiritual enrichment. A growing programme of multimedia modules is available for teachers, deacons, catechists, chaplains, youth workers, those in parish ministries as well as people generally keen to learn more about their Catholic faith.
Who is it for?
Online modules are open to individuals as well as to groups from parish, area or diocesan teams, schools and colleges, and other Catholic agencies. Many modules have been developed in partnership with dioceses and other organisations and with the backing of the Bishops' Conference.
Online modules can either be taken as stand-alone modules for personal interest or for professional or ministerial continuing development. They can also count towards the Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies awarded by the Board of Studies of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of England and Wales.
Ushaw Online welcomes collaboration with dioceses, colleges and other agencies who are interested to develop further specialist modules online.
